Early(ish) morning run

Because of workshops this week taking place in my usual afternoon jogging time I am switching over to what is a (relatively) early morning running schedule for this week.

I got out at 9:30 a.m. and it was 5ºC with some high cloud that gave way to sun toward the end of the run. The trail was dry but the muddy parts were a bit slick.

Despite the feeling that I was dogging it after the previous day’s workout with 15 pound dumbbells, I managed to shave 3 seconds off my previous average pace, bringing it down to 5:31/km. Still way off my 5:23 runs, but I’m heading in the right direction again. For now, at least.
