I don’t know the answer, but I do know if it weren’t for that fact we wouldn’t have images like this–and the world would be a lesser place:
UPDATE: Not surprisingly, it turns out you probably shouldn’t spook your cat with cucumbers. Apparently they see them as possible snakes and can develop permanent cucumber-related trauma.
