I asked Adobe Firefly to give me a Sasquatch working in an office on Adobe Photoshop, using the photography filter. It gave me this:

I mean, would you tell him lunch break is over?

To amuse me. If it makes me laugh (or smile), I’m good.
Yesterday, a discussion in Discord lead to speculation over whether the Sasquatch had arrived in Australia via dugout canoe1This started when someone in my gaming group, who is going on a trip to Australia soon, noted “my research has indicated that there’s a Bigfoot like cryptid called the Yowie that lives in Australia“. I asked Adobe Firefly to produce illustrated proof of this, and behold:

This is all I really need AI to do when it comes to art. Sasquatches in canoes.
This is the kind of thing I would think of, and now with AI art, the dream can be (sort of) real!
As seen on reddit and using Midjourney for the art, this is one of the best things I will see on the internet this week. Or for the rest of the decade.
A preview:

Adobe has gotten into the text AI business and claims their system avoids the whole “using artistic works without the artist’s permission” thing–which is great! They’ll probably attach a hefty subscription price to the service once it’s out of beta, which is…vintage Adobe.
For now, it’s free, and I’m in the beta, so here is Bigfoot eating pancakes on a sunny outdoor deck.

A star destroyer would have been perfect, but maybe too perfect, so I went with this retro thing, with rivets and all. But piloted by a giant alien (the satellite provides scale).

Five prompts to go!
Name 10 weird things to draw
I did both the dragon and robot without any reference. I think this means I’ve seen a lot of dragons over the years, which is impressive when you consider they don’t exist.

As the title says. I actually completed a full version of this prompt yesterday and decided to scrap it and start over. I like this version more. I may have a “rejects for your amusement” post after I’ve gone through all ten prompts.
